Netflix held their first-ever global fan event at Netflix Tudum on September 25, 2021. The giant streaming platform dropped several big announcements, trailers, sneak peeks and exclusive feature interviews. Red Notice – November 12
The event began with a trailer for Red Notice, a Netflix original film starring Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson. The three-minute trailer is full of explosions and corny one-liners which is the perfect recipe for a fun heist movie.
Money Heist Season 5 Volume 2 – December 3
Fans got a sneak peek into the last season of the popular Spanish show Money Heist. From the first look, it seems that there is another twist in the professor’s mastermind plan.
Extraction 2
Chris Hemsworth starrer Extraction is part of Netflix’s top 10 most-watched movies of all time, which means a sequel is the right choice. The actor announced the news himself at the event and stated “If you thought our first film pushed the limits, wait until you see what Sam and I have planned for this next instalment”.
The Witcher Gets Renewed For Season 3
The event ended with some big news and reveals for the fantasy series The Witcher. We got a trailer and several clips from Season 2 which will be premiering on December 17. In a training montage at Kaer Morhen, Vesemir and Nivellen were certainly looking impressive from their first looks.
And yes, Netflix has officially renewed The Witcher for Season 3! In addition, a second anime feature film and a kids & family series set in Geralt’s world will soon be in the works.
Fans also got a behind the scenes look into the prequel series The Witcher: Blood Origin. Considering the franchises huge popularity, Netflix is going all-in to capitalize on the Witcher Universe.
Army of Thieves – October 29
Netflix dropped the first trailer for Army of Thieves, a zombie-less prequel to Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead. The film will follow the story of German safecracker Ludwig Dieter and will stream on October 29.
The Harder They Fall – November 3
A Netflix western genre original starring Idris Elba, Jonathan Majors and Regina King will be streaming on Netflix on November 3.
Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser
The teaser for the fourth season of Stranger Things takes us to the Creel House, which seems anything but pleasant. The beloved show is lined up to stream sometime in 2022.
Ozark Season 4
