Marvel’s What If…? is an animated anthology series that will explore alternate versions of characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The 10 episode series is set to premiere on Disney Plus on August 12 with season two of the show already in the works. What If…? is created by A.C. Bradley and directed by Bryan Andrews
Marvel Tv Shows have so far largely focused on developing existing characters in the MCU, which further progress the overall storyline. However, What If…? will change this approach as it will focus on what would happen if certain events in the MCU played out differently. T’Challa becoming StarLord to Peggy Carter taking the super-soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers, the series will cover several other significant moments in the MCU.
Marvel has been flooding Disney+ with several shows from its impressive lineup. From WandaVision’s tribute to the golden era to The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’s action-packed mini-series, Marvel’s Tv shows have so far largely received positive reception. With Loki just a week away from its climactic finale, Marvel has debuted the first trailer for What If…?, which has definitely got our attention now.

The show will also introduce Uatu the Watcher, voiced by Jeffrey Wright to the MCU.
Several actors in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will return to reprise their existing characters. Late Chadwick Boseman, who passed away from colon cancer last year will play the role of T’Challa in the series.
Marvel has also released the official poster for the series as well.
Each episode of the show will explore crucial moments in the MCU that have played out completely differently. With several iconic moments to choose from, the show can create a multiverse of infinite possibilities. The beautiful animation, stellar cast and intriguing stories are something we are looking forward to playing out.
