Money Heist Season 5 Part 2 Teases an Emotional Goodbye
Netflix has officially released the final trailer for Money Heist Season 5: Volume 2. From the clip, it seems that we are looking at a more emotional plot that will wrap up the individual character arcs. The final batch of episodes for the thrilling crime heist saga will drop on 3rd December 2021.
The Spanish show also known as La Casa De Papel will end its run this season which seems to raise the stakes higher than ever.
We get a glimpse at nearly all the characters except Rafael and Tatiana, who we can be sure will play a game-changing role in the upcoming season. The gang seems uncertain of the future and the heist seems to be in jeopardy. Grief seems to be a major emotion among our characters due to the surprising death of a character in the previous season.
With the professor picking up arms and entering the bank himself, it seems that this season is going to be more unpredictable than ever. The trailer ends with the gang on their knees, literally. With the army enclosing on them perhaps this season will see more character deaths than we had anticipated.
The actors from the previous seasons will return to reprise their role with Álvaro Morte as the Professor, Itziar Ituño (Lisbon), Najwa Nimri (Alicia Sierra), Pedro Alonso (Berlin), Esther Acebo (Stockholm), Jaime Lorente (Denver), Miguel Herrán (Rio), Rodrigo de la Serna (Palermo), Darko Perić (Helsinki) and Hovik Keuchkerian (Bogotá). It will be interesting to see which side former negotiator Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri) will play.
Money Heist Season 5 was an action-packed thriller ride with lots of interesting twists and turns. The ending particularly left fans quite startled and questioned the direction of the story going forward. The show is constantly built on creating cliffhangers at the end of every season, which won’t be the case in Money Heist Season 5: Volume 2.
