Netflix unveiled several new projects, trailers and first looks for its original content at the 2nd edition of its annual global fan event: Tudum. If you’re unfamiliar with the word ‘Tudum’ it’s the phonetic spelling of the sound that plays at the beginning of all of Netflix’s original content.

Like the previous year, the Tudum this year was enormous, with a ton of announcements, trailers and behind-the-scenes footage. Since it’s a lot to catch up on, here are the top 15 announcements at Tudum!

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery – TBD 2022

While we wait for the release date announcement, we got a new clip for Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery from director Rian Johnson. In this scene, every potential suspect works together to create a puzzle-box invitation to a secluded island that will reveal the solution to the riddle that can only be solved by Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc. A date hasn’t been revealed yet, but it will release this year.

Extraction 2 – TBD 2023

Sam Hargrave will return as the director for the sequel which will see Rake trying to get a Georgian gangster’s family released from jail. If the behind-the-scene footage is anything to go by, it’s safe to say that the film will double down on the action.

The Mother – TBD 2023

The Mother features Jennifer Lopez playing a deadly assassin who must come out of hiding when her enemies put her kid at risk. Along with Lopez, Gael Garcia Bernal, Joseph Fiennes, Lucy Paez, Omari Hardwick and Paul Raci will also appear in the movie.

Emily in Paris will return for a third season on Netflix on December 21 despite receiving a mixed reaction from fans. Hellbound Season 2 – TBD 2023

In a very quick but appropriately dark and nasty teaser, Netflix announced that the Korean series Hellbound will return for a second season. Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story

Given Bridgerton’s enormous popularity, it comes as no surprise that Netflix is extending it with a spinoff.
